ELIZABETHTOWN COLLEGE SWIMMING Elizabethtown Falls to Misericordia in Dual Meet ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- The Elizabethtown College men's and women's swimming teams were swept in a dual meet by College Misericordia Friday night. The Etown men dropped to 1-7 in dual meets with a 121-61 loss, while the Etown women dropped to 1-8 in dual meets with a narrow 106-96 loss. The Misericordia men improve to 4-2 with the win, and the Misericordia women improve to 5-1 in dual meets. In the men's races, the only Etown win came in the first event of the night, as Jason Rose (Ft. Washington, PA/Upper Dublin), Daniel McGuigan (Phoenixville, PA/Phoenixville), Darren DiObilda (Coatesville, PA/Malvern Prep.) and Kevin O'Hara (Collegeville, PA) teamed up to win the 400 yard medley relay in 4:00.09. On the women's side, Etown won six of the 11 races but fell by ten points in the final score. The Blue Jays' 400 yard medley relay team of Holly Gish (Carlisle, PA/Carlisle), Kristen Kuc (Camp Hill, PA/Trinity), Keeley Trumbo (Jeffersonville, PA/Great Valley) and Molly Campbell (Mountville, PA/Lancaster Catholic) opened the meet with a win in 4:22.06. Kuc wound up with three wins on the night, as she also won the 50 yard freestyle in a team season-low 26.20 and won the 200 yard breaststroke in a season-low of 2:44.97. Gish won the 200 yard individual medley in 2:20.76, a new season low for her. Trumbo won the 200 yard butterfly in 2:24.21, a new team season low. Also winning an event and setting a new season low for the Blue Jays was Stacey Limbach (Harleysville, PA/Souderton) in the 500 yard freestyle in 5:51.69. Etown will return to action on the road Saturday, December 11 at Washington College (Md.) in a 1:00 p.m. dual meet. At Elizabethtown, Pa.
