ETOWN SWEEPS KING'S AND FDU-MADISON; BLUE JAY WOMEN RUN WINNING STREAK TO TENWILKES-BARRE, Pa. --- Elizabethtown captured 18 out of 22 events, including all 11 on the women's side, to sweep King's and FDU-Madison in a Middle Atlantic Conference tri-meet on Saturday at King's. Sarah Klaiber won three events to lead the Blue Jay women to a 133-33 victory over King's and a 133-26 win over FDU-Madison. Lauren Thomson, Sarah Bradley, Heidi Yoder, Ashley Hendrickson and Lindsay Texter each chipped in with two wins apiece as the Etown women improved to 11-2 on the season, including ten straight wins. On the men's side, Brian Serapiglia, Brian Polaski and Jon Fortin were all triple-winners as the Blue Jays (6-5) moved back above the .500-mark with a 95-56 win over King's and a 95-7 decision over FDU-Madison. Klaiber helped the Blue Jays' 400 medley relay team win the afternoon's first event in a time of 2:07.48. She then won the 200 individual medley in a time of 2:35.65 and posted a personal season-best time of 1:03.24 while winning the 100 backstroke. The team of Yoder, Texter, Hendrickson and Bradley capped the day with a season-best time of 1:48.52 in the 200 freestyle relay. On the men's side, Serapiglia and Fortin each helped the Blue Jays victories in the 400 medley and 200 freestyle relays. Individually, Serapiglia won the 200 freestyle and Fortin captured the 500 freestyle. Polaski swam a leg of the 400 medley relay and also picked up wins in the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke. Etown returns to action on Saturday, January 30 at Drew University.
