COLLEGE SWIMMING
ETOWN WOMEN DROP LYCOMING 131-71 FOR FIFTH STRAIGHT VICTORY; MEN FALL TO WARRIORS, 125-76 ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- The Elizabethtown women's swimming team captured ten of 11 events to defeat Lycoming, 131-71, in Middle Atlantic Conference action on Saturday. With the win, the Blue Jays improved to 6-2 on the season. On the men's side, Lycoming improved to 5-2 with a 125-76 win. The Blue Jay men fell to 3-3 on the year. Lindsay Texter (Lititz, Pa./Warwick), Heidi Yoder and Sarah Bradley each won three events to key the defending women's MAC champions to their fifth straight victory. Brooke Knepper won a pair of events and teammate Laura Barnes finished first in the 200 breaststroke for Etown. Paul Contino captured the 200 individual medley and 200 butterfly to pace the Etown men. Brian Serapiglia and Jon Fortin also won single events for the Jays. Both teams return to action on Tuesday, December 8 at Western Maryland College. Meet time is 7 p.m. Team Scores
