ETOWN FALLS TO WASHINGTON, WOMEN LOSE 137-64, MEN DEFEATED 136-48

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown suffered a double setback at home against Washington College Tuesday as the women’s team lost 137-64, and the men’s team fell by a score of 136-48. The women are now 5-3, and the men are 2-4.

Registering the lone first place finish for the Etown men was Eric Bicocchi (Hatfield, PA), who won the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:15.07. The only individual first place finisher for the Blue Jay women was Sarah Bradley (Mt. Pleasant, PA/Mt. Pleasant), who finished the 50 freestyle in 26.47 seconds.

Etown returns to action on the road against Susquehanna Saturday, January 22. Meet time is 2:00 p.m.
