ETOWN WOMEN DEFEAT MILLERSVILLE, 104-101

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- The Elizabethtown women’s swimming team slipped past Millersville Tuesday, 104-101.

The Blue Jays (2-2) garnered a total of five first place finishes in the meet. Brooke Knepper (Williamsport, MD/Williamsport) finished first in the 1000 meter freestyle, Sarah Klaiber (Hazelton, PA/Hazelton) finished first in the 100 backstroke, Lindsay Texter (Lititz, PA/Warwick) came in first in the 500 freestyle, and the Elizabethtown relay teams finished first in both the 200 medley and the 200 freestyle.

Gaining first place finishes for Millersville included Erin Eisenhofer (Mohnton, PA/Governor Mifflin) in the 100 and 200 freestyle, Emily Lunde (Washington, NJ/Warren Hills) in the 50 freestyle, Deidre Schaad (York, PA/York) in the 200 individual medley and Sarah Reinfried (Lititz, PA/Warwick) in the 100 breaststroke.

The Blue Jay men and women return to action at the Kutztown Invitational Friday, December 3. Meet time is 5:00 p.m.
