ETOWN DEFEATS LEBANON VALLEY, MEN WIN 82-72, WOMEN WIN 104-91

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- The Elizabethtown men’s and women’s swimming teams defeated Lebanon Valley. The 82-72 victory was the men’s second of the 1999-2000 season, and the women’s 104-91 win was their fourth.

The women’s team totaled nine first place finishes on the day. Lauren Thomson (Killingsworth, CT) had two first place finishes in the 200 freestyle and the 100 butterfly. Jessica Olson (Newington, CT) finished first in the 100 freestyle, the first victory of her collegiate career.

The men’s team won seven events. Brian Polaski (Newark, DE/Newark) won both the 100 breaststroke and the 200 individual medley.

Elizabethtown returns to action at home against Penn State-Altoona Saturday, January 15. Meet time is 1:00 p.m.
