MESSIAH SWEEPS TO 3-0 VICTORY OVER ETOWN; JAYS' MAC PLAYOFF HOPES IN JEOPARDY

GRANTHAM, Pa. --- Messiah helped its playoff chances with a 3-0 win over Elizabethtown in MAC Commonwealth League action on Wednesday.  With the loss, the Blue Jays fell to 9-14 overall and 2-3 in the league.

Sarah Klunk led the Etown effort with six kills and a team-best nine digs.  Patti Criscuolo paced the Jays with seven kills while Gabriella Clarke collected a team-high ten blocks.

Etown returns to action on Saturday, October 17 at home against Goldey Beacom College.  Game time is 11 a.m.
