MAGUIRE SETS PROGRAM RECORD AS ETOWN KNOCKS OFF WIDENER, 3-2, IN MAC COMMONWEALTH LEAGUE FINALE

CHESTER, Pa. --- Kristen Maguire set a program record with 65 assists in a match as Elizabethtown downed Widener, 3-2, in MAC Commonwealth League action on Tuesday.  With the win, the Blue Jays improved to 12-17 overall and 3-4 in the league.

Patti Criscuolo collected a personal-best 26 kills in the victory, the second-highest single-game total in program history.  Sarah Klunk chipped in with 17 kills and 15 digs while teammate Lori Lisiecki added 14 kills and 11 digs.

Gabriella Clarke tallied 13 kills and a team-best ten blocks for the Blue Jays.

Etown returns to action on Friday, October 30 at home in the Halloween Classic Tournament against Franklin & Marshall College.  Match time is 4 p.m.
