ETOWN FALLS TO MARYMOUNT, RUTGERS-NEWARK IN BLUE JAY CLASSIC TOURNAMENT; SUSQUEHANNA, SCRANTON AND MARYMOUNT 2-0 AFTER FIRST DAY
ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown lost to Marymount, 7-15, 3-15, 3-15, and Rutgers-Newark, 4-15, 1-15, 0-15, in the first day of the Blue Jay Classic Tournament Friday. Dawn Johns (Baltimore, MD/Lansdowne) led the Blue Jays with nine kills on the day.
Scranton, Susquehanna and Marymount won both their matches Friday, and Messiah, Mary Washington, and Rutgers-Newark went 1-1 for the day. Baptist Bible and Dickinson finished the day 0-2.
