ETOWN FALLS TO DICKINSON, 3-0

CARLISLE, Pa. --- Having defeated Dickinson once this year, the Blue Jays found that they could not do it twice as they fell to the Red Devils, 9-15, 6-15, 4-15.

Elizabethtown found itself in trouble early, as Dickinson vaulted to a 12-4 lead in the first game. The Blue Jays fought back to make the score 12-9, but could not preserve that momentum for the remainder of the match.

Cheryl Cybulski (Elkton, MD/Elkton) led the Blue Jays with eight kills, and Dawn Johns (Baltimore, MD/Lansdowne) stymied Dickinson with five service aces.

The Blue Jays return to action at home Thursday against Juniata. Match time is 7:00 p.m.
