BLUE JAYS DEFEATED BY FIFTH-RANKED JUNIATA, 3-0

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown fell to 0-5 in the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth Conference Thursday, losing to the nation's fifth-ranked Juniata Eagles, 6-15, 1-15, 6-15.

Juniata (19-3, 4-0) dominated play for much of the match. The Blue Jays managed to take a 6-5 lead in the third game, only to see the Eagles respond by scoring 10 unanswered points to take the match.

Dawn Johns (Balitmore, MD/Lansdowne) had four kills for Etown, and Kim Mulderig (Sayville, NY/Sayville) led the team with eight digs.

The Blue Jays' next match occurs on the road against Albright Wednesday, October 20. Match time is 7:00 p.m.
