ETOWN GOES 1-2 DURING FALL BREAK CALIFORNIA TRIP

PASADENA and THOUSAND OAKS, Ca. --- Elizabethtown posted one win and three losses during its Fall Break trip to California Friday and Saturday. The Blue Jays defeated California Institute of Technology 3-0 Friday and lost to Occidental 3-0 Friday at CalTech. Etown lost to California Lutheran 3-0 Saturday to fall to 10-13 overall this season.

Etown defeated CalTech 15-4, 15-5, 15-8 as Gabriella Clarke (Woodlyn, PA/Ridley) pounded out a team-high 10 kills, Emily Morris (Canton, PA/Canton) had four service aces, and Erin Malone (Orwigsburg, PA/Blue Mountain) led the Blue Jays with 10 digs.

Against Occidental, the Blue Jays were led by Morris with 12 digs and six kills. Dawn Johns (Baltimore, MD/Lansdowne) and Clarke also had six kills each.
Morris again had 12 digs for the team high against California Lutheran, and Morris and Johns led the team with seven kills apiece.

Etown returns to action at home against Albright Thursday, October 19. Match time is 7:00 p.m.
