Etown Falls to Susquehanna, 3-1

SELINSGROVE, Pa. --- Elizabethtown dropped to 3-6 overall and 1-1 in the Commonwealth Conference as the Blue Jays lost a 3-1 road match to high-flying Susquehanna Tuesday night.

Susquehanna, which is now 15-1 overall and 3-0 in the conference while riding a 15 match winning streak, won the first game 30-14. The Blue Jays struck back in the second game with a 31-29 victory, but Susquehanna took the next two games 30-23 and 30-18 to win the match.

Elizabethtown returns to action as host of the eight-team Blue Jay Classic tournament Friday and Saturday, September 28 and 29. The tournament begins at 5:30 p.m. Friday, with Elizabethtown playing its first match at 7:30 p.m. against Neumann.
