Etown Falls to Lebanon Valley, 3-0, in Commonwealth Conference Opener

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown dropped a 3-0 decision to Lebanon Valley in its 2002 Commonwealth Conference opener Tuesday night. With the loss, Etown falls to 5-5 overall.

Etown fell in the first game 30-22 as Lebanon Valley went ahead early and a late Blue Jay rally was not enough to close the gap. Lebanon Valley took the second game 30-12, and came back to win a much closer third game, 30-25.

Elizabethtown will return to action as host of Ursinus Thursday, September 19 for a 7:00 p.m. match.
