Etown Winning Streak Hits Five Matches, Blue Jays Get First Conference Victory With 3-0 Win over Albright

READING, Pa. --- Elizabethtown's current winning streak reached the five match mark Wednesday night as the Blue Jays handily defeated Albright College in three games on the road.

The 30-16, 30-15, 30-21 victory not only gave Etown its longest winning streak since an eight-match run last year, it also gave the Blue Jays their first Commonwealth Conference win of the 2004 season. Etown is now 9-3 overall and 1-1 in the conference, while Albright drops to 9-7 overall and 0-2 in the Commonwealth with the loss.

Elizabethtown will return to action as the host of the Blue Jay Classic, which will run from Friday, September 24 to Saturday, September 25. The tournament this year features six teams, and Etown will face Ursinus College and St. Joseph's College (NY) in the opening rounds Friday.
