Elizabethtown Defeats Mt. Aloysius 3-2 in Opening Round of Scranton Tournament

SCRANTON, Pa. --- Elizabethtown improved to 6-3 overall Friday evening with a 3-2 opening-round win over Mt. Aloysius in the University of Scranton Invitational. The Blue Jays won the match 30-21, 25-30, 30-15, 21-30, 15-5.

Elizabethtown was also scheduled to face DeSales University in an 8:00 p.m. match in the tournament Friday night, but results from that match were not available as of 10:10 p.m. Statistics for the earlier Mt. Aloysius match were not yet available at that time as well.

The University of Scranton Invitational will continue Saturday, September 17.
