ELIZABETHTOWN COLLEGE VOLLEYBALL Elizabethtown Falls 3-0 to 17th-Ranked Hiram, 3-2 to Carnegie Mellon, on Final Day of Carnegie Mellon Invitational PITTSBURGH, Pa. --- Elizabethtown College lost both of its matches on the final day of the Carnegie Mellon University Invitational Saturday to drop to 18-4 overall in 2006. The Blue Jays fell in three games, 30-26, 30-25, 30-27 to nationally 17th-ranked Hiram College in their first match of the day, and Elizabethtown fell in five games, 30-21, 19-30, 22-30, 30-22, 15-6 to host Carnegie Mellon in the day’s final match. Despite the two losses today, Elizabethtown still has its best record through 22 matches since 1986, when the team was also 18-4 through 22 matches.
