Head Coach: Randall Kreider

Randall Kreider, Elizabethtown College Head Volleyball Coach.Elizabethtown head coach Randall Kreider has been a part of the volleyball program for seven years, including one year as an assistant coach and the last six years as the head coach.

In that time, he led the Blue Jays to the post-season for the first time in ten years in 2004, and he guided Etown back to the playoffs again in 2005 and in 2006. In 2007, he led the Blue Jays to the Commonwealth Conference championship and the second round of the NCAA Division III tournament.

In six seasons, he has led Etown to a 132-63 overall record and led the team to the playoffs in each of the last four years. The 2007 team finished with a 32-7 record, the most wins in a season for a Blue Jay squad since 1988.

In addition to being the head coach of the volleyball program, Kreider also serves the College as the System and Network Administrator for Elizabethtown's Information and Technology Services department.

Prior to his arrival at Etown, Kreider alternately served as the head coach of the Ephrata Rec Volleyball Club's 15's and 16's teams. His 2001 15's team won the KRVA Regional Tournament and earned a bid to the USA Volleyball Nationals.

Kreider has played at the "A" level in the USA Volleyball Association and the KRVA. A 1994 graduate of Gettysburg College with a major in computer science, he served as the co-captain, president and vice president of the Gettysburg College Intercollegiate Men's Club Team. At Cocalico High School in Denver, Pa., he was a member of the state final four, District III runner-up, and Lancaster-Lebanon League champion 1990 boys' volleyball team.

Kreider holds an IMPACT Coaching Certification and is a certified KRVA Provisional Referee and Regional Scorekeeper.

His wife, Alison, has served as the assistant coach of the men's and women's swimming programs at Elizabethtown College since 1999, as well as an adjunct faculty member in the athletics department.
