Etown Falls to Juniata, 74-54

HUNTINGDON, Pa. --- Elizabethtown dropped to 3-9 overall and 1-3 in the Commonwealth Conference with a 74-54 road loss to Juniata Saturday. The host Eagles improve to 6-8 overall and 3-1 in the conference and extend their Commonwealth winning streak to three.

Jessica Smith (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cumberland Valley) led Elizabethtown with 11 points, while Tameka Jackson (Philadelphia, PA/John W. Hallahan) led the Blue Jays with 13 rebounds. Jennifer Roberts (Eagleville, PA/Methaction) came off the bench to score 10 points for Etown. As a team, Elizabethtown shot 34.5% (20-for-58) from the floor and 38.5% (5-for-13) from three-point range.

Brandy Preslovich led Juniata with 22 points and 10 rebounds, Kelly Steinbeiser scored 12 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, and Kelly Grove added 13 points for the Eagles.

Elizabethtown returns to action at home against conference rival Lebanon Valley Tuesday, January 15. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
