Etown Cruises to 71-54 Win over Juniata for Ninth Straight Victory; Hollinshead Scores 25 Points

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown won its ninth straight game Wednesday night, defeating Commonwealth Conference rival Juniata College on the road to improve to 9-3 overall and 3-0 in the conference. Juniata dropped to 3-10 overall and 0-3 in the conference with the loss.

Jessica Hollinshead (Jenkintown, PA/Jenkintown) was the Blue Jays' only double-digit scorer for the night, and she totaled 25 points on a 10-for-16 performance from the field. She also shot four-for-four from the free throw line and made her only three-point attempt for the night. Hollinshead also led the Blue Jays in rebounds with seven.

Megan Wolfe (Jonestown, PA/Northern Lebanon) and Jen Roberts (Eagleville, PA/Methacton) each totaled nine points, and Roberts had five rebounds for Etown. Jessica Smith (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cumberland Valley) added eight points and five rebounds, and Cristin Braun (Exton, PA/Bishop Shanahan) led the Blue Jays in steals with four while pulling down five rebounds and scoring seven points on three-for-five shooting from the field.

Gretchen Hall was Juniata's top scorer with 14 points. Lesley Snoby added 11 points from off the bench for the Eagles, and Jen Urich scored 10 points while leading Juniata in rebounds with ten.

Etown will return to action as the host of Widener in a 2:00 p.m. Commonwealth Conference game Saturday, January 17.
