Etown improves to 5-8 overall with the win, while York drops to 6-11 overall. Walton went 8-for-12 from the field and 11-for-14 from the free throw line. She also tied for the team lead in steals with three and totaled three assists and three rebounds. Elizabethtown as a whole was helped greatly by a strong performance at the free throw line, as the Blue Jays shot 27-for-34 (79.4%) from the charity stripe for the game and 16-for-19 (84.2%) in the second half alone. York shot just as well from the free throw line, going 80.0%, but the Spartans only had 15 opportunities from the line, 12 of which they converted. Elizabethtown turned the ball over just 12 times against 21 turnovers for York. A total of five Blue Jays reached double digits in scoring. Besides Walton, Dana Voit (Jefferson Hills, PA/Thomas Jefferson) and Cristin Braun (Exton, PA/Bishop Shanahan) each totaled 12 points. Braun led the Blue Jays in rebounds with 11, and she had two steals. Megan Wolfe (Jonestown, PA/Northern Lebanon) scored 11 points and led the Blue Jays in assists with six and in steals with three. Jen Roberts (Eagleville, PA/Methacton) added 10 points and 10 rebounds for Etown. Heather Kessler (Gettysburg, PA/Gettysburg) led York in scoring with 25 points and in assists with five.
