ELIZABETHTOWN COLLEGE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL Moravian Edges Elizabethtown 75-67 BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Elizabethtown dropped a close 75-67 game on the road to Commonwealth Conference front-runner Moravian College Wednesday night. The Blue Jays dropped to 5-9 overall and 2-4 in the conference with the loss, while Moravian improved to 15-2 overall and 6-0 in the conference. Moravian held a five-point lead with just one minute left in regulation time and was never able to get more than nine points ahead of Etown at any point in the game. The host Greyhounds shot 25-for-57 (43.9%) from the field, 5-for-14 (35.7%) from the three point range, and 20-for-29 (69.0%) from the free throw line for the game and out-rebounded the Blue Jays 40-38. Etown shot 24-for-59 (40.7%) from the field, 2-for-14 (14.3%) from three-point range, and 17-for-25 (68.0%) from the free throw line. Etown first-year student Erin Walton (Columbus, NJ/Northern Burlington Co.) led the Blue Jays in scoring with 18 points from off the bench, and she pulled down four rebounds. Cristin Braun (Exton, PA/Bishop Shanahan) scored 15 points, shot 6-for-8 from the field, grabbed eight rebounds, tossed out four assists and blocked a pair of shots for Etown. Jen Roberts (Eagleville, PA/Methacton) scored 13 points, led the Blue Jays in steals with four and shot 5-for-6 from the field. Megan Wolfe (Jonestown, PA/Northern Lebanon) added 11 points and four assists for Etown. Amanda Reid (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth Area) was Etown's leading rebounder with 10 rebounds, and she scored eight points. Stephanie Seaman led Moravian in points with 27, in rebounds with 12, and in assists with four. Jenny Hackleman scored 12 points and pulled down 11 rebounds for Moravian. The two contributed nearly half of the Greyhounds' points and over half of the team's rebounds for the night.
