Five Score in Double Figures as Elizabethtown Downs Immaculata, 83-52

IMMACULATA, Pa. --- Senior Erin Walton (Columbus, NJ/Northern Burlington County) scored a game-high 20 points as Elizabethtown College placed five players in double figures in an 83-52 victory at Immaculata University in women's basketball action on Saturday afternoon.

Junior Megan Quinn (Millersville, PA/Penn Manor) added 17 points while first-year student Kirsti Larsen (Carlisle, PA/Boiling Springs) went 4-for-5 from three-point range and finished with a season-high 14 points off the bench for the Blue Jays (9-5 overall), who shot 59.4 percent (19-for-32) from the field in the first half en route to a 46-24 halftime lead.

Nina Cammarano led the Mighty Macs (2-10 overall) with 15 points, but Immaculata committed 22 turnovers and shot 38.5 percent (20-for-52) from the field in the contest.

Elizabethtown opened the game with an 11-0 run, and held Immaculata without a field goal for the first 6 minutes, 8 seconds while taking a 17-6 lead. The Blue Jays led 46-24 at halftime behind 14 points by Quinn and 11 from Larsen.

The second half was dominated by Elizabethtown, which led by no fewer than 30 points for the final 13 minutes, 21 seconds and by as many as 35 points on two occasions.

Sophomore Courtney Kofeldt (Coatesville, PA/Holy Spirit, NJ) came off the Blue Jay bench to socre 13 points in 17 minutes, while senior Amanda Reid (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth) tallied 10 points and a game-high eight rebounds.

Elizabethtown finished 9-for-19 from three-point range in the game, with Kofeldt going 3-for-5 from beyond the arc. Overall, the Blue Jays finished at 49.2 percent (32-for-65) from the field, including a 4-for-4 effort by Reid and 5-for7 performances by Kofeldt and Larsen.
