Lebanon Valley Rolls Past Elizabethtown, 83-57

ANNVILLE, Pa. --- Lori Lidlow came off the bench to score a game-high 28 points and pace Lebanon Valley College to an 83-57 victory over Elizabethtown College in Commonwealth Conference women's basketball action on Saturday afternoon.

Andrea Hoover added 14 points and nine assists for the Dutchmen (20-3 overall, 5-3 Commonwealth), who shot 54 percent (34-for-63) from the field as a team and closed the game with a 21-5 run to clinch a confernece playoff berth.

Senior Audrey Hitz (Lebanon, PA/Annville-Cleona) and junior Jenn Montague (Newark, DE/St. Mark's) shared the team lead with 13 points apiece for the Blue Jays (10-13 overall, 1-7 Commonwealth), who finished the game at 39.3 percent (22-for-56) from the field including 3-for-20 from three-point range.

Elizabethtown led for the majority of the first half by as many as six points, but the Dutchmen outscored the Blue Jays 16-8 over the final five minute of the half to turn a 28-28 tie into a 44-36 lead at intermission.

The Blue Jays trailed 62-52 with 7:21 to play, but the Dutchmen went on a 19-1 run to take their largest lead at 81-53 with 1:36 to go.

Joining Hitz and Montague in double figures for the Blue Jays were junior Megan Quinn (Millersville, PA/Penn Manor) with 11 points and seven rebounds, and senior Erin Walton (Columbus, NJ/Northern Burlington County) with 11 points and five boards.

Megan Bish also reached double figures for the Dutchmen with 12 points and a team-high eight rebounds off the bench. In all, Lebanon Valley's subs outscored the Elizabethtown reserves by a 47-15 margin.
