ELIZABETHTOWN COLLEGE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL Moravian Uses Second-Half Surge to Defeat Elizabethtown 76-61 BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Amanda Brown scored 16 points and dished out seven assists as Moravian College posted a 76-61 victory over Elizabethtown College in non-conference women's basketball action on Saturday afternoon. Lauren Fornazor added 15 points for the Greyhounds (2-3 overall), who placed four players in double figures and shot 49.2 percent from the field against the Blue Jays (2-2 overall). Senior Erin Walton (Columbus, NJ/Northern Burlington County) tallied 23 points and pulled nine rebounds for Elizabethtown, which led 36-35 at halftime but hit on just 37.7 percent (26-for-69) from the field in the game. Elizabethtown held a 40-39 lead with 17:06 left, but Moravian went on a 22-5 run to move ahead 61-45 with 6:45 to play. Kate Harrison also reached double figures for the Greyhounds with 13 points to go with four rebounds and four assists, while Megan Kocon came off the bench to contribute 12 points in just 11 minutes of playing time. Joining Walton in double figures for the Blue Jays was junior Jenn Montague (Newark, DE/St. Mark's), who netted 10 points to go with four rebounds. Junior Megan Romano (Jenkintown, PA/Jenkintown) added eight points, six rebounds and six assists for the Blue Jays, while senior Audrey Hitz (Lebanon, PA/Annville-Cleona) tallied six points and eight rebounds and first-year student Kirsti Larsen (Carlisle, PA/Boiling Springs) came off the bench for eight points and five boards.
