ETOWN RUNS WINNING STREAK TO SEVEN WITH 64-48 WIN OVER VASSAR; CHILES POSTS DOUBLE-DOUBLE IN WINNING EFFORT

WHITTIER, Ca. --- Carmen Chiles (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Mennonite) scored 17 points and added a career-high 12 rebounds to lead Elizabethtown past Vassar, 64-48, on Friday at Whittier College.  With the win, the Blue Jays improved to 9-1 on the season.

Kim Boback (Croydon, Pa./Villa Joseph Marie) chipped in with 12 points for Etown and moved into 15th place on the program's all-time scoring list with 1,096 career points.  Shauntae Stancil (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) added six points and 11 boards as the Blue Jays won for the seventh straight game.

Lisa Ercolano led Vassar (4-4) with 11 points while Jessica Houser added ten points and ten rebounds.

Etown needs ten more wins to become the first women's basketball program in NCAA history to record 800 all-time victories.  The Blue Jays return to MAC Commonwealth League action on Wednesday, January 13 at home against Lebanon Valley College.  Game time is 6 p.m.
