FABIAN'S SECOND DOUBLE-DOUBLE LEADS ETOWN OVER KING'S, 62-60, INTO CHAMPIONSHIP; STANCIL REACHES 1,000-POINT MARK

ARLINGTON, Va. --- Abbie Fabian (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) posted her second straight double-double and Shauntae Stancil (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) became the second Blue Jay in two days to surpass 1,000 career points as Elizabethtown edged King's, 62-60, in the semifinals of the Pizza Hut Tipoff Classic at Marymount University on Saturday.

Etown (2-0) will face the hosts in the championship game on Sunday at 3 p.m.  The Blue Jays defeated Marymount, 72-70, in the semifinals of last season's Tipoff tournament.

Fabian tallied a team-best 20 points - one point shy of her career high - and added ten rebounds for her second double-double in as many games.  She collected 13 points and ten board in the Jays' 65-51 win over Maryville on Friday.

Stancil poured in 18 points on 9-for-15 shooting to become the 19th player in the program's 71-year history to score 1,000 career points.  Fellow senior Kim Boback (Croydon, Pa./Villa Joseph Marie) reached the 1,000-point club with a ten-point performance on Friday.

Jen Still (Turnersville, N.J./Washington) also keyed the Etown attack, posting a career-high 12 points and adding nine rebounds.

Heather Medashefski led all players with 22 points and ten rebounds for King's (1-1), which also fell to Etown in last season's Middle Atlantic Conference semifinals, 74-68.
