BOBACK, CHILES HELP ETOWN HANDLE MESSIAH, 75-62, IN JAYS' MAC COMMONWEALTH LEAGUE OPENER GRANTHAM, Pa. --- Kim Boback scored a season-high 21 points and Carmen Chiles added 18 points and six rebounds to lead Elizabethtown to a 75-62 victory over Messiah in MAC Commonwealth League action on Tuesday. With the win, the Blue Jays improved to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in the league. Abbie Fabian added 14 points and 11 rebounds for her third double-double in four games this season while Allison Lucey chipped in with ten points and a careeer-best six steals as Etown avenged a 58-56 loss at Messiah during the 1997-98 campaign. The Blue Jays shot 53.3 percent from the field on 16-for-30 shooting in the second half to put the game away. The Falcons (3-1, 0-1) were led by Nancy Schuit with 20 points and Sarah Wade with 14 points and a team-high six rebounds. Etown outrebounded Messiah 38-26 on the evening. The Blue Jays return to action on Friday,
December 4 in the first round of the Blue Jay Classic against Susquehanna
