ETOWN BLASTS BRYN MAWR, 107-16

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown steamrolled past Bryn Mawr Thursday night, winning in a 107-16 blowout while giving reserves greater playing time.

Seven players from Etown reached double digits in scoring. Jamie Porter (Glenolden, PA/Merion Mercy Academy) led the Blue Jays in scoring with 19 points and had five steals, while Jesse Goldstein (Robbinsville, NJ/Lawrence) scored 16, and hit three of her four three-point attempts. Whitney Bull (Berwick, PA/Berwick) and Meredith Edwards (Lemoyne, PA/Cedar Cliff) each scored 15 points, and Edwards shot 70% from the field.

Carmen Chiles (Lancaster, PA/Lancaster Mennonite) added 13 points, and Abbie Fabian (Denver, PA/Cocalico) and Sandra Lopez (Lancaster, PA/McCaskey) each scored 11 points. Lopez led the team in assists with five and steals with six, and Fabian pulled down a team-high 11 rebounds.

Katie Murray led the scoring for Bryn Mawr with nine points. Bryn Mawr shot 6 for 38 for the evening. Bryn Mawr turned the ball over 38 times, as opposed to Elizabethtown's four, and Etown totaled 26 steals.

Elizabethtown (9-2) returns to action on the road Saturday against Susquehanna. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
