Etown Falls to Western Maryland, 16-10, in Program's Debut; Liz Fretz Scores Five Goals

WESTMINSTER, Md. --- Elizabethtown's women's lacrosse team lost the first game in its history Saturday, 16-10, on the road to Western Maryland.

Elizabethtown was down by just one goal, 6-5, at halftime, but Western Maryland exploded for ten goals in the second half against five for Etown.

Liz Fretz (Parkerford, PA/Owen J. Roberts) led Elizabethtown with five goals scored in her first collegiate game. Jen Manns (Wilmington, DE/Brandywine) scored three goals and had a team-high of two assists for the Blue Jays.

Also scoring a goal for Elizabethtown were Molly Walker (Columbia, MD/Glenela Country School) and Dana White (Freeland, MD/Hereford).

Kim Fegley (Wescosville, PA/Emmaus) made 13 saves in the goal for Etown.

Erin Mulhern led Western Maryland's offense with five goals.
