ELIZABETHTOWN COLLEGE WOMEN'S LACROSSE

Etown Falls To Scranton, 20-7

SCRANTON, Pa. --- Elizabethtown fell to Middle Atlantic Conference rival Scranton on the road Thursday, 20-7, to drop to 4-9 overall and 2-5 in the conference in its first season of existence. Scranton improves to 9-5 overall and 5-3 in the MAC with the win.

Liz Fretz (Parkerford, PA/Owen J. Roberts) led Etown with three goals scored, and Molly Walker (Columbia, MD/Glenela Country School) added two goals to the Blue Jays' offensive efforts. Walker also led the team with three assists.

Liz Baumbach led Scranton with ten goals and had three assists, setting Royal program records for most goals in a game (10) and most points in a game (13).

Elizabethtown returns to action in its final game of the season Saturday, April 27 on the road against MAC rival Widener. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
