Etown Falls to MAC Rival Scranton, 25-9

SCRANTON, Pa. --- Elizabethtown dropped to 5-8 overall and 4-6 in the Middle Atlantic Conference with a 25-9 road loss to Scranton, which improves to 11-3 overall and 9-1 in the MAC and clinches the second seed in the conference playoffs with the win, Saturday afternoon.

Jen Manns (Wilmington, DE/Brandywine), Liz Fretz (Parkerford, PA/Owen J. Roberts) and Amanda Simpson (Aberdeen, MD/Aberdeen) led the Blue Jays in goal scoring with two each. Fretz and Manns also notched a single assist. Stephanie Boyle (Folsom, PA/Ridley) led Etown in assists with two.

Elizabethtown will return to action in its final game of the season, a non-conference contest at home against McDaniel (formerly Western Maryland) Monday, April 28 at 4:00 p.m.
