Nationally 10th-Ranked St. Mary's (Md.) Defeats Etown 15-7 in Night Game at UMBC

BALTIMORE, Md. --- Nationally 10th-ranked St. Mary's College of Maryland improved to 7-0 as Elizabethtown fell 15-7 in a neutral site game at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County Thursday night. Elizabethtown drops to 0-4 overall with the loss.

Etown stayed with St. Mary's in the first half, as the score was 7-5 at halftime. St. Mary's outscored Etown 8-2 in the second half.

Katie DiRico (Lancaster, PA/Hempfield) scored four goals and had two assists to lead Elizabethtown in both categories. Danielle Grooms (Frederick, MD/Gov. Thomas Johnson) scored one goal and had one assist, for Etown, and Michelle Collier (Plymouth Meeting, PA/Plymouth-Whitemarsh) and Katie Foley (Palmyra, NJ/Holy Cross) each scored one goal for the Blue Jays.

No other details are currently available.

Elizabethtown will return to action at home Saturday, March 18 against Moravian College in a 1:00 p.m. game. It is the Middle Atlantic Conference opener for both teams.
