ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. --- Sophomore Stephanie Kreis (Bel Air, MD/John Carroll School) scored with 1.1 seconds remaining as Elizabethtown College upset 16th-ranked University of Mary Washington 16-15 in non-conference women's lacrosse action on Tuesday.

Kreis led the Blue Jays (1-1 overall) with four goals as Elizabethtown posted the second victory over a nationally-ranked opponent in program history, following a 14-13 win over Lycoming College last season. Coincidentally, Kreis scored the tie-breaking goal with 21 seconds left in the win over Lycoming.

Elizabethtown led 7-3 at halftime, but the Eagles (2-2 overall) scored 12 times in the second half to deadlock the contest at 15-15, setting up the late heroics by Kreis.

Sophomore Megan Byrnes (Lutherville, MD/Towson) added three goals for the Blue Jays while junior Katie Foley (Palmyra, NJ/Holy Cross), junior Kelsea Kozak (Brookhaven, PA/Sun Valley) and junior Anna Ford (Salisbury, MD/Homeschooled) tallied two goals apiece.

Sophomore Alisha Sangrey (Columbia, PA/Hempfield) also scored for Elizabethtown, while first-year students Meg Cassels (Downingtown, PA/Great Valley) and Sarah Cullinan (West Chester, PA/West Chester East) netted their first career goals in the victory.

Junior Jenn Hawkins (Havre de Grace, MD/Havre de Grace) finished with a career-high 19 saves in goal for the Blue Jays.
