ETOWN FALLS TO WILKES AND YORK AT TRIANGULAR MATCH, WILKES GOES 2-0

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown fell to 0-3 in dual matches this season with a pair of home losses to Wilkes and York in a triangular match Saturday. Etown lost to Wilkes, 30-14, and York, 24-19. Wilkes also defeated York, 25-14, to go 2-0 on the day.

Highlights from Elizabethtown's match against Wilkes included a pin by Brian Alwine (Hanover, PA/South Western) against his opponent at 149 lbs., and a 17-2 technical fall win by Bill Van Winkle (Hummelstown, PA/Lower Dauphin) at 125 lbs.

Elizabethtown fell behind 18-0 against York but came back to take a 19-18 lead. However, the Blue Jays could not hold on as York won the final two matches. Ben Kreisher and Josh Boyer (Hanover, PA/Delone Catholic) each had pins for the Blue Jays at 184 lbs. and heavyweight, respectively.

Elizabethtown returns to action at home against Scranton, Tuesday, November 21. Match time is 7:00 p.m.
