ELIZABETHTOWN COLLEGE WRESTLING Etown Falls in Three Dual Matches Friday and Saturday ALLENTOWN and DOYLESTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown fell in three dual matches Friday and Saturday. The Blue Jays lost to Delaware Valley at Delaware Valley, 45-9, Friday, and Elizabethtown lost to Muhlenberg, 45-6, and Baptist Bible, 40-18, at Muhlenberg Saturday. In Friday's match, Delaware Valley head coach Robert Marshall became just the third coach in NCAA Division III wrestling history to reach the 400 win plateau with the victory. Six of Etown's nine points in the match came on a pin at 125 pounds by Eric Boyle (Warrington, PA/Central Bucks East) at a time of 1:14. The other three points came on a decision win for Nick Myles (Allentown, PA/Allentown Central Catholic) at 157 pounds. The 6-3 win was Myles' first match of the 2001-02 season after being sidelined late in the 2000-01 season by injuries. In the 45-6 loss to Muhlenberg Saturday, Etown's lone victory came on another pin by Boyle at 125 pounds. This time, he brought his opponent down after just 0:16. Etown's 18 points against Baptist Bible came on an injury win at 141 pounds by Josh Miller (Indiana, PA/Indiana) and a pair of forfeits. Etown will return to action at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships, to be held Friday, February 15, and Saturday, February 16 at Messiah College.
