ELIZABETHTOWN COLLEGE WRESTLING Elizabethtown Competes at Scranton Invitational SCRANTON, Pa. --- Elizabethtown took part in the day-long Scranton Invitational Sunday, and the Blue Jays finished with a total of 57.5 points, placing them fifth in the six-team tournament. At 174 pounds, Etown sophomore Eric Guise (Bendersville, PA/Biglerville) won a pair of bouts en route to a fourth-place finish in his weight class. He defeated Lycoming's Tim Cherry on an 11-5 decision and Lycoming's Colton Craig in a 5-4 decision. In the third-place bout, Guise could not defeat Cherry a second time and lost a 9-4 decision. Guise went 2-2 for the day. Etown freshman Vinny Camacho (Harrison, NY/Harrison) won a pair of bouts at 157 pounds and went 2-2 for the day as well. He defeated teammate Jeremy Gatens (Tamaqua, PA/Tamaqua) on a technical fall at 4:25, and he beat Ray Prado of the College of New Jersey on a 3-2 decision. Also recording a win for Etown was 165-pound sophomore Matt Eder (Eldersburg, MD/McDonogh), who pinned Scranton's Ryan Bennett at 2:40. Eder went 1-2 on the day. Elizabethtown will return to action in a dual match at home January 17 against Middle Atlantic Conference rival Messiah. The match will begin at 7:00 p.m. At Scranton, Pa.
