Thaddeus Stevens Tech Downs Etown, 35-15

LANCASTER, Pa. --- Elizabethtown fell 35-15 on the road to Thaddeus Stevens Tech, which is perennially one of the top junior college wrestling programs in the country. Because Thaddeus Stevens Tech is not a four-year institution, according to NCAA rules Elizabethtown's results for the match do not count in the team's win-loss record or in any of the wrestlers' individual statistics.

Etown junior Joe Sahd (Lititz, PA/Warwick) won at 184 pounds on a pin 2:31 into his first bout of the season. At 157 pounds, sophomore Vinny Camacho (Harrison, NY/Harrison) won an 8-2 decision for the Blue Jays as well.

Etown will return to action on the road against Middle Atlantic Conference rival Messiah Friday, January 16 at 7:00 p.m.
