ELIZABETHTOWN COLLEGE WRESTLING Gettysburg Downs Etown, 34-12, Josh Miller Wins First Bout in Nearly Two Years on Pin in 25 Seconds ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown College fell to 1-5 in dual matches with a 34-12 home loss to non-conference opponent Gettysburg College (2-5) Tuesday night. The evening was not without its share of highlights, however, as three Blue Jays won their bouts, including junior Josh Miller (Indiana, PA/Indiana), who, wrestling in his first match in nearly two years, took just 25 seconds to win on a pin. Elizabethtown dropped into a hole early in the match as Gettysburg received a forfeit win at 125 pounds and proceeded to win decisions at 133 and 141 pounds, a major decision at 149 pounds, and a pin at 157 pounds to take a 22-0 lead. Etown struck back at 165 pounds as Etown junior Joe Sahd (Lititz, PA/Lancaster Catholic) won a 9-5 decision. The 174 pound bout brought Miller to the circle, who had last wrestled in an official match February 9, 2002, and had posted a 9-11 record with one pin in the 2001-02 season as a first-year. 25 seconds later, Miller had his tenth collegiate victory and his second career pin. Gettysburg picked up an injury default win at 184 pounds, and Etown junior Eric Guise (Bendersville, PA/Biglerville) won a 6-3 decision at 197 pounds. Gettysburg received a forfeit win at heavyweight to complete the match. Elizabethtown will return to action on the road Saturday, January 24 in a triangular match at Baptist Bible College with Centenary College. The matches are scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. At Elizabethtown, Pa.
