Etown Goes 0-4 at Middle Atlantic Conference North vs. South Duals at Lycoming; Rob Bozart Goes 4-0

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. --- Elizabethtown College fell to 1-9 in dual matches in 2003-04 after going 0-4 at the Middle Atlantic Conference North vs. South Duals, hosted by Lycoming College Saturday. Elizabethtown lost its first match to Scranton 26-19, fell to Lycoming 44-6, lost to Delaware Valley 52-3, and dropped its final match to Wilkes 46-3.

First-year Rob Bozart (Camp Hill, PA/Cedar Cliff) won all four of his bouts on the day and was the source of all of Etown's points against Lycoming, Delaware Valley, and Wilkes. Bozart won a 10-8 decision against Tom Phillips of Scranton, pinned John Ambs of Lycoming in 3:42, won a 13-7 decision over Dan Hall of Delaware Valley, and won a 9-2 decision over Mike Sciulara of Wilkes. Bozart is now 8-2 overall and 6-0 against opponents from the MAC.

Eric Guise (Bendersville, PA/Biglerville) also picked up a win at 197 pounds against Scranton for Etown, pinning Matt Butler in 4:02. Wayne Hummer (Lititz, PA/Warwick) won a 10-2 major decision over Kevin Byrne of Scranton as well.

Etown will return to action Saturday, February 7 at the New York University Quadrangular, which is set to begin at 2:00 p.m.
