NCAA Division II Kutztown Defeats Elizabethtown 33-7

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Elizabethtown College dropped to 4-4 in dual matches Wednesday night with a 33-7 loss to NCAA Division II member Kutztown University, which improved to 9-2 in dual contests with the win.

Elizabethtown picked up a pair of victories in the match. At 125 pounds, Blue Jay junior Peter Achilles (Geneva, NY/Geneva) won an 11-1 major decision to improve his season record to 13-7. It was his team-leading fourth major decision win. Etown sophomore Jereme Heisey (Manheim, PA/Manheim Central) won an 8-3 decision at 157 pounds as well to improve to 8-6 in 2006-07.

Elizabethtown will return to action on the road Friday, February 2 in a dual match against former Middle Atlantic Conference rival King’s College (Pa.).
