ETOWN USES TRIO OF PINS TO DEFEAT WESTERN MARYLAND, 34-15 ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. --- Bill VanWinkle (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin), Mike Fierro and Ryan Sellars all collected pins to lead Elizabethtown to a 34-15 win over Western Maryland in non-league action on Wednesday. With the win, the Blue Jays improved to 13-8 on the season. Eric Snavely (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central) won by technical fall at 133 and Mike King (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) posted a 12-4 major decision at 141 to help stake Etown to an early 21-0 lead. Western Maryland closed to within 21-12 after Blue Jay forfeits at 157 and 165, but Dan Bechtold (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) won by major decision over Mike McKinney at 174 and Eric Dusko used a final-second takedown to edge Chris McNally, 5-3, in the night's 184-pound bout. Chris Englebrake posted an 8-6 decision for the Green Terror at 197 before Sellars finished the match with a pin of Western Maryland's Josh Galemore in the heavyweight bout. Etown wraps up its regular season on Saturday, February 13 at home against the University of Scranton. Match time is 7 p.m. Elizabethtown 34, Western Maryland 15
