SELLARS, DUSKO AND BECHTOLD FINISH IN TOP THREE AS ETOWN WRESTLERS FINISH FOURTH AT MAC CHAMPIONSHIPS

GRANTHAM, Pa. --- Heavyweight Ryan Sellars (Pottstown, Pa./Pottstown) posted a second-place finish and Eric Dusko (Pottstown, Pa./Pottstown) finished third at 184 to lead the Elizabethtown wrestling team to a fourth-place finish at the Middle Atlantic Conference wrestling championships on Saturday at Messiah College.

National power Lycoming captured the tournament title with 103 team points.  Delaware Valley finished second with host Messiah in third.  The meet also qualified 14 wrestlers for the NCAA Division III National Championships on March 5-6.

Bill Van Winkle (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) finished fourth at 125 while posting two falls in a tournament-low time of 2:02.  Dan Bechtold (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) decisioned Messiah's Randy Pickett, 3-1, to finish in third place at 174.

Three other Blue Jays finished in fourth place on the afternoon, including Rick Buchwald (Shrewsbury, Pa./Susquehannaock) at 149, Eric Snavely (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central) at 133 and Mike King (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) at 141.
