THREE WIN INDIVIDUAL TITLES AS ETOWN OPENS SEASON WITH SECOND-PLACE FINISH AT MESSIAH INVITATIONAL GRANTHAM, Pa. --- Bill Van Winkle (125), Art Mattes (197) and Ryan Sellars (HWT) each captured individual titles to lead Elizabethtown to a second-place finish at the Messiah Invitational on Saturday. The Blue Jays scored 93.5 points in the seven-team event and finished behind only Messiah (120 points). Jason Aurand (149) and Dan Bechtold (174) grappled to second-place finishes in Etown's first competition of the 1998-99 season. Also placing for the Blue Jays were Mike King, who finished third at 141, and Sam Lannigan, who placed fourth at 125. Etown, which went 18-7 last season and sent four wrestlers to the NCAA meet, returns to action on Wednesday, November 18 at Gettysburg College. Match time is 8 p.m. Messiah Invitational
