ETOWN PUTS SCARE INTO DELAWARE VALLEY BEFORE FALLING, 21-13

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. --- Delaware Valley picked up victories in the last three weight classes to erase a 13-12 deficit and defeat Elizabethtown, 21-13, in a Middle Atlantic Conference match on Friday.

Bill Van Winkle (125) opened the match with a 4-1 win over All-American Mike Jones and Eric Snavely (133) followed with a major decision to give the Blue Jays a 7-0 edge.

Jason Aurand (157) and Dan Bechtold (174) also picked up victories for Etown, which fell to 1-1 on the season.

Etown returns to action on Saturday, November 21 at Albright College.  Match time is noon.
