BLUE JAYS CAPTURE VIRGINIA DUALS WITH 29-15 WIN OVER LONGWOOD; ETOWN WINNING STREAK AT SIX MATCHES

HAMPTON, Va.---Elizabethtown won the 1999 Virginia Small College Duals with a 29-15 win over Longwood on Saturday.  With the win, the Blue Jays improved to 9-5 on the season and captured their sixth straight match.

Bill VanWinkle (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin), Eric Snavely (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central), Jason Aurand (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) and Ryan Sellars (Pottstown, Pa./Pottstown) each won all three of their matches to help Etown post a 3-0 mark on the weekend.  The Jays reached the finals with a 41-9 win over Gettysburg and a 23-15 win over UNC-Pembroke on Friday.

Etown returns to action on Friday, January 15 at Millersville University.  The Jays will also wrestle Duquesne University at that meet.  Matches begin at 5 p.m.
