ETOWN FINISHES SECOND AT LEBANON VALLEY INVITATIONAL

ANNVILLE, Pa. --- Elizabethtown finished second at the Lebanon Valley Invitational Saturday, scoring 119.5 points. Messiah won the tournament with 130.5 points.

Three Blue Jays won the championships in their weight classes, including Dan Bechtold (Lancaster, PA/Hempfield) at 174 lbs., Bill Van Winkle (Hummelstown, PA/Lower Dauphin) at 125 lbs., and Art Mattes (Bethlehem, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) at 197 lbs.

In addition, nine of Elizabethtown's ten wrestlers placed in their weight class, tops out of the 19 teams participating at the invitational.

Elizabethtown returns to action Friday, December 10 at Lycoming. Match time is 7:30 p.m.
