ETOWN FALLS TO LYCOMING, 29-12

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. --- Elizabethtown lost its first dual match of the season to Middle Atlantic Conference rival Lycoming Friday night, 29-12. The Blue Jays are now 4-1 in dual matches for the season.

Winning their matches for Etown included 125 pounder Bill Van Winkle (Hummelstown, PA/Lower Dauphin), Sam Lannigan (Lancaster, PA/Conestoga Valley) at 133 pounds, Dan Bechtold (Lancaster, PA/Hempfield) in the 174 pound class and Art Mattes (Bethlehem, PA/Bethlehem Catholic). Mattes remains undefeated in 1999-2000 with a 16-0 record.

The Blue Jays will see action next at the Virginia Duals January 7 and 8. Match times and opponents are to be announced.
