SCRANTON, Pa. --- Amy Connolly scored in the 51st minute to lead Scranton past Elizabethtown, 1-0, in Middle Atlantic Conference action on Saturday.  With the loss, the Blue Jays fell to 3-2 on the season.

Jen Helsel led Etown with three shots while Christy Callahan and Andrea Thompson each managed two shots apiece.  The Blue Jays outshot the Royals, 11-7, for the game, but Scranton goalie Meghan Quinlan recorded six saves for her third shutout of the season.

Etown, which is currently ranked 17th in the nation, returns to action on Tuesday, September 15 at home against Susquehanna University in the MAC Commonwealth League opener for both squads.  Game time is 4 p.m.
