MARY WASHINGTON BLANKS ETOWN, 3-0, IN FINAL GAME OF MWC CLASSIC

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. --- Laura Stafford scored two goals to lift host Mary Washington over Elizabethtown, 3-0, in the final game of the Mary Washington Classic on Sunday.  With the loss, the Blue Jays fell to 4-4.

Etown held a 7-3 edge in corner kicks on the game, but were outshot by the Eagles, 11-5.  Lisa Blanker made four saves in the Blue Jay nets.

Etown returns to action on Wednesday, September 23 at home for a key regional matchup with Gettysburg College.  Game time is 4 p.m.
